Tango no Sekku (Childrenユs
Day) is in May in Japan, and we have the custom of raising
a "Koinobori," a carp pennant. This comes from a
Chinese legend, メwhen a carp goes up the great river, it will
become a dragon at the end. This art is a Xennyo Ryu-o, a
dragon god.
これは5月の札なので端午の節供をテーマに。「鯉が大河を登るとやがて龍になる」という中国の伝説、登竜門から龍神、善女竜王を杜若と共に描いてみました。
