A master of the bow, Kajiwara
Kagesue is a young man knowledgeable in the aesthetic of war.
He was said to have a plum flower on his quiver while fighting
in battles. And when he galloped through on horseback, the
scent of plums lingered after, which fascinated both friends
and enemies.
梶原景季は弓の名手であり、戦の美学を心得た若者で、箙(矢を入れて背負うもの)に梅の花をさして戦ったと言われています。彼が駆け抜けた後は梅の香が舞うと言い、敵味方を魅了したそうです。
